The Financial Services HR team is seeking a Manager, HR Business Partner to partner with our Auto business to accelerate business growth through impactful talent strategies. In this role, you will lead people initiatives across a fast-paced, high-velocity Sales organization, effectively balancing multiple strategic priorities and driving concrete results. The ideal leader will excel at executive influence, strategic problem-solving, and relationship-building, while leveraging AI-driven HR solutions to boost team efficiency and deliver actionable organizational outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional HR experts (people analytics, recruiting, compensation, tech talent, AR, D&I) to deliver measurable people strategy outcomes and business-aligned talent solutions
• Drive high-impact execution of key talent initiatives, performance cycles, and associate feedback channels to elevate team capabilities and performance
• Translate business imperatives into high-impact HR solutions, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on critical growth and talent strategies
• Provide strategic advisory and targeted resolution on complex HR issues to empower leaders and maintain operational momentum
• Coach leaders to maximize organizational efficacy, leverage leadership frameworks (Include/Empower/Inspire), and optimize org design to drive business performance
• Pioneer the adoption of AI capabilities and tools to optimize talent strategies, scale efficiency, and deliver data-driven HR solutions

Basic Qualications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 4 years of client facing experience OR at least 4 years of consulting experience OR a combination
• At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification
• 5+ years of client facing experience or 5+ years of consulting experience or a combination
• 5+ years of experience in in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Plano, TX: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, HR Business Partner

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
