Product Design Engineer

As a Product Design Engineer, you demonstrate technical knowledge to deliver high quality and reliable mass production components (e.g., sheet metal, machining, anodization, injection molding, coatings, raw materials, packaging, thermals, FEA). You own a user or consumer product design area/material/component/system of moderate complexity and successfully deliver them through multiple milestones. You apply engineering fundamentals, analyze data, and implement unique/innovative component level solutions. Apply engineering fundamentals, analyze data, and implement findings to components/systems. Find and solve urgent, time-dependent issues. Proactively communicate progress and regularly request feedback from drive, as needed. Anticipate and address product design issues or risks. Analyze and validate product design by leveraging appropriate data and suggest and implement design improvement. Demonstrate engineering expertise through influence in one cross-functional area. (e.g., RF, Antenna, EE, Sensor, Materials Science, Operations, CM Processes, Sustainability). Influence positive culture within the team. Demonstrate technical knowledge to deliver high-quality and reliable mass-production user or consumer products (e.g., sheet metal, machining, anodization, injection molding, coatings, raw materials, packaging, thermals, FEA). Seek out senior mentorship. May demonstrate Design expertise through user or consumer-focused influence in an aesthetic area (e.g., Industrial Design, User Experience, Graphical Artwork, Human Factors, CMF, usability/serviceability) where applicable. Own a user or consumer product design area/material/component/system of moderate complexity and successfully deliver them through multiple milestones.
