Position Overview We’re looking for a Project Associate – MEP Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll support restoration and building systems projects while developing hands‑on experience in field inspections, technical analysis, and construction documentation. You’ll work closely with project leaders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions across complex projects. What You’ll Do Support MEP and building restoration projects across all phases under supervision Assist with site inspections, field measurements, and condition assessments (including elevated and confined spaces) Prepare and update technical documents: drawings, reports, specifications, and field notes Create and modify AutoCAD drawings and sketches Participate in client, contractor, and consultant meetings Track project documentation, photos, and records Help monitor construction progress and identify issues or discrepancies Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Required What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or related field) 0–2 years of relevant experience Proficiency in AutoCAD Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively Preferred Exposure to building systems, construction, or façade/restoration work Familiarity with NYC building codes or inspections OSHA certifications or willingness to obtain scaffold safety certifications Work Environment & Schedule This position is based in New York City, with a hybrid schedule. Standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Travel within NYC required Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $80,000 – $90,000, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
