What You'll Do As a Housekeeping Supervisor / Inspector, you'll oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team while ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet hotel and brand standards. Responsibilities include: Inspect guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards are met. Supervise, support, and motivate Room Attendants, Housemen, and Public Area Attendants throughout each shift. Assign daily work and monitor productivity to ensure timely completion of all assignments. Ensure guest rooms are ready for arrival according to hotel occupancy needs. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and service recovery opportunities. Report maintenance concerns and coordinate with the Engineering team to resolve issues. Ensure all team members follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and proper cleaning practices. Assist with cleaning rooms or public areas when operational needs require. Complete daily inspection reports, room status updates, and other required documentation. Partner with the Front Office and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Previous hotel housekeeping experience required. Prior supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality preferred. Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning standards, and hotel operations. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to use hotel property management systems and basic computer programs is a plus. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements This is an active leadership position that requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the hotel. Frequently bend, reach, kneel, and climb stairs. Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Inspect guest rooms thoroughly, including bathrooms, furniture, linens, and fixtures. Occasionally assist with housekeeping duties during busy periods.
