Overview The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of the products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies. They intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner, maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Pay Rate ~$14.00 / hour. Responsibilities Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented. Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job. Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports as per Company Policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may adjust duties as needed. Qualifications Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience or training preferred. Computer Skills: Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A local Food Handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden. Foods and beverages may be prepared using kitchen appliances. Contact with cleaning supplies may occur. No supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: A professional appearance and proper grooming are required, with retailer dress code specified in training documents. Language Skills: English is primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
