Key Responsibilities of the RN – Pediatric Med Surg

• Provide care to pediatric patients in a medical-surgical setting
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health maintenance

Requirements of the RN – Pediatric Med Surg

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric med-surg nursing
