Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting across varied surgical cases
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as assigned throughout the surgical procedure?
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and adhere to facility protocols and Joint Commission standards
• Support vascular surgical cases, applying specialized knowledge and skills as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida or through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated vascular surgery experience is required
• Current BLS certification; ACLS as required
• Ability to work varied shifts within a 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a large acute care or full-service medical and surgical hospital environment
• Familiarity with minimally invasive, laparoscopic, or robotic surgical procedures
• CNOR certification or active pursuit of perioperative nursing certification
