Lapping Operator

Position Lapping Operator – on‑site, first shift machine shop at Vishay Centerline in Hudson, Massachusetts. On‑site role with flexible training available. Responsibilities Setting up, operating, and maintaining lapping machines. Checking tables and machines for accuracy. Cutting fixtures with scroll saw. Measuring pieces before, during, and after processing. Determining optimal run‑time for each job based on specifications. Loading parts and operating 1–2 machines at a time. Flipping and rotating parts to ensure an even finish. Changing slurries as needed. Standing at the machine throughout the shift. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required). Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent hand‑eye coordination and finger dexterity (required). Experience handling small and fragile parts. Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset. Self‑motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
