Phlebotomist I – Unionville, CT – Monday‑Friday 6:00 AM‑12:00 PM (Rotational Weekends) Pay Range $19.49 – $21.55 per hour. Salary may vary based on experience, education, certifications, and performance bonus eligibility. Responsibilities Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams, etc.) Administer oral solutions per training Research test/client information and confirm orders using lab technology systems and approved tools Navigate computers and accurately enter data Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments as required Process specimens including labeling, centrifugation, aliquoting, freezing, and preparation for transport as needed Perform non‑patient‑facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and emailing Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs timely Complete online and in‑person training courses on time Qualifications Required Education High school diploma or equivalent Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA Work Experience One year phlebotomy experience preferred Customer service in retail or service environment preferred Keyboard/data entry experience The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
