RN - Dialysis

Registered Nurse - Hemodialysis and Apheresis

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00) with a required float between multiple campuses and call duty on Sunday nights only.

The Hemodialysis Department provides hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis treatments 24/7. This role involves caring for patients with end-stage renal disease, acute kidney injury, and other critical conditions. The department is equipped with telemetry monitoring and consists of 9 bays and 1 isolation room for specific patients. Hemodialysis nurses work collaboratively with a support team to provide comprehensive care.

• Administer hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments.
• Monitor vital signs and manage any complications during treatments.
• Provide cardiac monitoring for patients requiring surveillance.
• Perform apheresis treatments for patients with specific medical conditions.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient care needs.
• Document treatment plans and patient responses accurately in the Epic charting system.

• Active Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with using the Epic charting system is mandatory.
