Job Description The Naval Nuclear Laboratory at our Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory site located in Niskayuna, New York is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with our design team and be responsible for reviewing mechanical and plumbing calculations, design drawings, and technical specifications for building and site infrastructure construction projects. Other areas of opportunity include performing construction inspections, participating in production meetings, developing and reviewing construction cost estimates, performing evaluations, and interfacing with facility sponsors, architect & engineering firms, and contractors. Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field. Pay Range $63,900.00 - $97,800.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guideline only.
