Fund Formation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Fund Formation Attorney with two to seven years of experience for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private investment fund formation, representing sponsors and investors, and handling various fund-related transactions. Duties Represent sponsors and investors in private investment funds. Complete fund formation transactions and sponsor-level transactions. Manage secondary transactions involving limited partner or portfolio company interests. Requirements Two to seven years of private investment fund formation experience. Experience in a corporate department of a national or international law firm preferred. High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. Education Juris Doctor from a nationally recognized law school. Certifications Admitted to practice law in New York. Skills Strong analytical and transactional skills.
