About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active Nursing License Certifications: Required Certifications Must-Have: Orthopedic, Spine, and Neuro experience Description: Must have experience in Orthopedic, Spine, and Neuro procedures. The unit contains 7 operating room rooms and 4 in the day surgery center. Staffing includes a charge nurse and typically 5 nurses and 5 surgical technologists during the day shift. Patient ratios are maintained for optimal care. The unit uses Meditech as the electronic medical record system. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred candidates will also have experience in robotic procedures. The role may include being on-call approximately 5 days a month. Scrubs will be provided for the position. Unit policies and guidelines are available for review.
