About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20037!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of ER experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required Must-Have: BSN highly desired; Cerner experience required Description: The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats a diverse range of patients. ED nurses manage critical care skills, including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusions of blood, and chest tube management. Patients range from urgent care cases with simple procedures to psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. Nurses coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience. Travelers must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN and manage a patient ratio of 1:5. About Cynet Health
