Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/PCU setting within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
• Monitor and manage patients requiring cardiac drip administration and hemodynamic oversight
• Float to additional hospital campuses within the health system as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Complete time-sensitive onboarding modules prior to and during assignment as directed
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner using the Epic electronic health record system
• Perform EKG interpretation and demonstrate pharmacology competency as required during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience; ICU experience also required
• Active RN license (pending license accepted)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to assignment start date
• Epic proficiency rating of 3 or 4 required
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine required within 12 months of start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with cardiac drip management in a progressive care or step-down environment
• Experience working in a teaching hospital or multi-campus health system
• Strong EKG interpretation and pharmacology knowledge
