Controls Systems Engineer

Job DescriptionDUTIES: Act as Lead Engineer for new programs. Participate in new program implementation and execution such as Statement of Requirements (SOR) preparation, forecasting, conveyor controls design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff. Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement of Paint Shop conveyor equipment and systems. Provide technical direction and guidance to outside vendor sources. Manage deliverables to program timing milestones. Provide project reports to senior management. Perform existing program and site support including troubleshooting. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all customers and plants. Create, maintain, and improve Paint controls standardized work, processes, and procedures. Audit Paint Controls implementation for alignment to standards. Provide technical direction to other Controls engineers. Design and troubleshoot electrical controls systems and error proofing systems. Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology. Hybrid Work Policy – 3 days In-Office, 2 Days Remote – Must be able to report to local office.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study. Seven (7) years of experience as a Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or related role.
