About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for its Food Automation Group. This senior executive role is pivotal in defining and executing the commercial growth strategy, with a focus on driving revenue, market expansion, and customer engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning go-to-market strategy, sales, marketing, and strategic account management across the portfolio. Key responsibilities include establishing long-term commercial priorities, identifying growth opportunities, and building scalable commercial capabilities. The role demands a leader with a strong commercial acumen, the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, and a proven track record in driving commercial transformation within industrial, capital equipment, automation, manufacturing, or technology-based businesses. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive commercial leadership experience, with a background in building and scaling commercial organizations. The role requires a leader with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in CRM systems, and a deep understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and financial drivers. The ideal candidate will have a history of leading multi-business-unit, multi-site, or global commercial teams and a demonstrated ability to implement commercial disciplines that improve revenue predictability and operational effectiveness. Strong leadership, project management, and change management capabilities are essential, as is the ability to foster a high-performance commercial culture. The position is based in a professional office environment and may require domestic and international travel of up to 50%.
