Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Job Description

The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for the efficient operation of forklifts and motorized pallet jacks, as well as managing daily warehouse tasks to ensure smooth and effective logistics processes.

Shift: 3rd Shift

$23/hour

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and motorized pallet jack.
• Complete and document daily forklift inspections.
• Operate stretch wrap machine.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Receive shipments and compare counts to packing lists and purchase orders.
• Verify all inbound freight, placard accordingly and move into designated storage location.
• Write up receivers and warehouse transfers (Transfer In/Transfer Out).
• Process Supply Chain Transfers.
• Pull raw components for material transfers and deliver them to shipping.
• Support multiple docks for receiving and shipping.
• Maintain clean and effective warehouse and dock area.
• Resolve receiving discrepancies.
• Print out Open PO report and review traffic schedule daily.
• Organize and consolidate raw materials.
• Update and maintain information in computer systems such as Syspro and Excel.
• Cross-trained as a Material Handler and Inventory Associate.
• Perform inventory requests counts and assist in the Perpetual Cycle Count program.
• Assist with Pick/Stage/Return of raw material to and from production lines.
• Complete projects assigned by Management.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating a pallet jack and forklift.
• Experience in material handling and inventory management.
• Skilled in data entry.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing 50+ lbs.
• Forklift certification or eligibility.
• Excellent mastery of written and spoken English.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to perform tasks while continuously standing.
• Capability to work quickly and efficiently while ensuring quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners.
• Knowledge of packing procedures.
• Proficiency in using Syspro and Excel.

Work Environment

The role is set in a production environment where you will be expected to perform all tasks efficiently and effectively.

This is a Permanent position based out of Gurnee, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Gurnee,IL.
