Job Summary ARISE/Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area with a young lady who requires assistance due to a developmental delay. The family is looking for a dedicated staff to provide her with support and assist her with maintaining her independence in community settings. Responsibilities Responsibilities include taking the young lady to various activities of interest and encouraging general independence. Job Details Job Location: Syracuse - Syracuse, NY 13205 Position Type: Per Diem Education Level: None Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly Self‑Direction DSP – Syracuse Area (Job #LB-MB) Requirements / Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license. Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR's technology policy. Additional Information Work hours include Monday through Friday, afternoon/evening. This is a part-time position. Pay rate is $20 per hour. Reliable transportation and an HS diploma/GED are required.
