Advisors can set up custom investment templates, access factor investing strategies, utilize passive strategies, actively manage taxes, and apply ESG investing and SRI screens according to the specific needs, preferences, and objectives of individual clients.HOW YOU WILL ADD VALUEAs a Senior Product Specialist - Retail Channel (Canvas) you will be responsible for sales growth within the Southeast Division. This will be achieved through:Raising assets within your territoryDemonstrating subject matter expertise and working collaboratively across the OSAM and Franklin Templeton organizations.Partnering with the Franklin Templeton generalist sales team to sell to Wirehouse, Independent, Bank and Regional financial advisorsBeing an expert on direct indexing and custom indexingEffectively collaborating with other members of the OSAM Client Service, Portfolio Management, Operations, Tech and Relationship Management teamsWHAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLEEXPERIENCE10+ years of asset management distribution or specialist experience3+ years of experience with direct indexing exhibiting a deep understanding of it along with the competitive landscapeDemonstrated success selling to financial advisorsExperience with separately managed accounts (SMAs)PROFESSIONAL SKILLSComfortable working with and explaining advanced technological solutionsEffective facilitator of innovationExcellent communicator including comfort with main stage presentationsPassion for collaborating with financial advisors and working to improve their businessesKeen curiosity and ability to understand details of investment processes and practicesAbility to work independently and collaboratively with a teamWORK SCHEDULE & LOCATIONThis is a virtual role that can be based out of preferably any major city within the Southeast (Atlanta, Florida major cities, etc.)Travel expectations of 50-75%Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards, monetary and non-monetary, designed to support the whole person and to recognize their time, talents, and results. Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation.
