Job Description We are currently seeking professional Class A CDL Drivers for a local intermodal position operating out of Hutchins. This W2 position offers a consistent local freight, comprehensive benefits, and a schedule that guarantees you are home daily . Drivers will operate slip-seat day cabs, servicing freight within a 300-mile radius of Hutchins while managing standard local variables such as traffic and seasonal weather. Why Choose Us? Compensation & Pay Structure Your earnings are determined by a competitive combination of base load pay, experience-based mileage rates, drop/stop pay, and shift differentials: Average Weekly Pay: $1,000-$1,100 Base Load Pay: $40.00 (Applies to 3 – 598 loaded miles) Stop Pay: +$20.00 per stop Experience-Based Mileage Rates (Base CPM): 0 – 24 Months: $0.37 CPM 24 – 36 Months: $0.38 CPM 36 – 48 Months: $0.39 CPM 48 – 60 Months: $0.41 CPM 60+ Months: $0.43 CPM Night & Weekend Pay Differentials (Applies to Loaded Miles Only) Monday – Thursday (Night Shift): Additional +$0.06 CPM from 7:01 PM to 5:00 AM (1901 - 0500) Friday (Night Shift): Additional +$0.12 CPM from 7:01 PM to 5:00 AM (1901 - 0500) Saturday & Sunday: All shifts pay standard base rate +$0.12 CPM Route & Operation Details Operating Radius: Local and regional intermodal operations within a 300-mile radius of Hutchins. Equipment: Slip-seat day cabs. Drivers must be comfortable managing standard metropolitan traffic and variable weather conditions. Driver Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) . Minimum 6 months of Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 12 months.
