Proprietor (General Manager)

Overview Proprietor, under the leadership of the Director of Operations, is responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring performance, guest satisfaction, increased sales, and profitability while actively ensuring the restaurant meets financial and operating goals. Responsibilities Ensure the restaurant meets financial and operating goals. Set clear expectations for team members, providing direction, honest feedback, praise, performance improvement, and career development. Recruit, retain, train, and develop staff, and supervise and lead the team. Actively engage in the community, going above and beyond to maintain the quality and consistency our guests crave. Appoint and manage the yearly budget and oversee the live P/L statement weekly. Collaborate with the Culinary Manager/Chef & FOH Manager to uphold all standards of operational excellence. Deliver “Big Sky Moments” to every guest and ensure the same for team members. Requirements 5+ years as a General Manager, Managing Partner or Assistant General Manager. Polished casual, upscale or fine dining experience (preferred). Sustainable operational results with a solid job history. Stellar business acumen – managing a P&L, scheduling, ordering and inventory. Enjoys hands‑on leadership in a scratch kitchen restaurant. Physical Requirements Withstand temperatures of 30°F to 100°F. Move throughout the restaurant for extended periods, up to 12 hours a day.
