Mathematics Instructor
$75 - $95 per hourCrossing Hurdles
Position: Top STEM PhD – Math or Physics
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $75–$95/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Craft, solve, and review high-quality, challenging math or physics problems with real-world applicability.
- Apply advanced domain expertise to support training and evaluation of frontier large language models.
- Work asynchronously with a team of highly qualified subject-matter experts.
- Ensure problems are technically rigorous, clearly structured, and suitable for AI learning.
- Contribute feedback to refine problem quality and relevance throughout the project.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or Physics from a top university.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical rigor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, research-focused environment.
