POSTING DATE : June 26, 2025 CLOSING DATE : Open Until Filled POSITION: Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) LOCATION : Various REPORTS TO: Health Services Coordinator PRIMARY FUNCTIONS : Provide state mandated health services to students under the direction of the Health Services Coordinator.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with nursing procedures (tracheotomy, G-tube feedings, catheterization, diabetic care, etc.) highly preferred.
• Ability to medically document in a professional and thorough manner.
• Ability to exercise professionalism and confidentiality when providing information to the students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with students, parent, staff, and other personnel.
• Successful experience working in school health or in the area of pediatrics, desirable.
• Must have own transportation.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Connecticut.
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification.

SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: $35.00 per hour.
