Base pay range $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr What you'll do Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross-functional teams; help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner. Be an Expert: understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepare products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines; adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: drive the performance of the area; utilize digital tools; stock and rotate department products using perpetual inventory management techniques; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: act as an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities and deadlines; carry out tasks; communicate progress; address improvement opportunities; adapt to change, difficulties, and feedback. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. The position requires successfully completing all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if selected.
