Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance TechnicianPerforms a variety of duties to repair and maintain hospital machinery and mechanical equipment. Reports to Manager of Engineering Services.ResponsibilitiesSupports the hospital's Christian mission and philosophy. Examines machinery or mechanical equipment and identifies reason for malfunction. Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose problems. Uses hand tools, power tools and testing instruments for repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Performs preventative maintenance repair or replacement of broken parts. Adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary. Cleans and lubricates parts. Orders replacement parts. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in commercial maintenance preferred. Three years experience in electrical, plumbing or HVAC skills preferred.
