Security Officer (Part-Time)

This position offers a competitive salary of $25.10/hr. with discretionary performance bonuses twice a year! Additionally, complimentary meals and covered team member parking are provided. The company also covers gaming licenses (Class A & Class B).

Responsibilities include exemplifying Muckleshoot Casino Resort's values, supporting the Security Department's mission, documenting incidents accurately, interacting with guests and team members to maintain a safe environment, safeguarding property assets, ensuring proper handling of confidential information, monitoring team members' vehicles, issuing parking violation notices, operating company vehicles, serving as a training officer for new security staff, completing various training programs, monitoring security vehicles and equipment, testifying in court as needed, creating a positive work environment, maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements include holding a valid WA State driver's License with no restrictions, obtaining a Class IIIA gaming license, having six months of professional security experience, formal security or law enforcement training, previous security, military, or civilian police officer training and/or experience, serving in a guest-facing security role, authoring clear incident reports, collaborating closely with team members, knowledge of health & safety standards, proficiency in basic computer skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to follow security procedures, ability to document incidents accurately, ability to work with confidential information, clear communication skills, assertiveness, confidence, ability to enforce rules diplomatically, maintaining composure in stressful situations, ability to walk, stand, and ride a bicycle for prolonged periods, and ability to lift seventy-five to one hundred pounds occasionally.
