Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab Unit

Our client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Inpatient Rehab Unit. This role involves caring for post-stroke and severely debilitated patients, helping them regain their quality of life in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility and accountability for patient care, facilitating communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and patient/family.
• Identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
• Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the nursing process.
• Work collaboratively within a ten-bed acute inpatient physical rehabilitation unit.
• Support rehabilitation efforts and communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.

Requirements:

• RN License required; Current KS state nursing license or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire or within 8 weeks of hire.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.
• NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Weekly Schedule: 7am - 7pm
• Shift: Day

Compensation:

• $30.58 - $42.99/hour
