Strong spatial reasoning, geometry skills, technical drawing acumen, and mechanical comprehension. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience in HVACR, electromechanical systems, piping, sheet metal, wiring preferred. Familiarity with GD&T standards, revision control, and ECN processes. CAD Associates Degree, Engineer, Architecture, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering Technology degree. Preferred Background Experience at HVACR OEMs or similar manufacturing environments. Ability to manage complex assemblies, tolerance calculations, and cross-functional design integration. Translate sketches, notes, and engineering input into detailed CAD drawings (2D/3D), assemblies, wiring diagrams, etc. Use CAD tools (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to build models of mechanical components. Create and maintain fabrication documentation, submittals, and production-level drawings. Ensure compliance with CAD standards, manage revision control (ECN), and maintain BOM and CAD libraries.
