101 Insurance Group is looking for a motivated Commercial Insurance Assistant to join our independent retail insurance agency in Garden Grove. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our agency by helping us service both new and existing clients. What We Are Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) with the ability to quickly learn and navigate insurance databases, carrier portals, and agency management systems.
• Communication: Strong professional phone presence and clear, accurate written communication skills.
• Detail-Oriented & Organized: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic arithmetic is required, as you will frequently review financial figures and premiums.
• Team Player: A reliable, consistent professional who thrives in a collaborative, 100% in-office team environment.
• Mindset : A positive attitude, a willingness to be coached, and a strong sense of accountability.
• Experience: Prior experience in an office, administrative, or customer service role is preferred. Insurance experience is a bonus, but we are willing to train the right person!

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwriting Support: Assist Senior Underwriters with daily administrative tasks, including processing endorsements, certificates, audits, inspections, and policy renewals.
• Client Liaison: Facilitate smooth and professional communication between clients and insurance companies to resolve inquiries and gather information.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and organized client records within our agency systems.
• Workflow Efficiency: Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding documents to ensure timely account processing
