The Bartender plays a key role in bringing the restaurant's energy to life through expertly crafted beverages, thoughtful service, and an engaging guest presence. This role blends technical skill with genuine hospitality, creating memorable moments while delivering consistent, high-quality beverage experiences. Requested Tasks Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for banquet and catered events Set up and break down bar stations according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) Ensure bar areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after events Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, wine, beer, and specialty cocktails Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests Monitor guest consumption and adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol laws and regulations Assist with inventory tracking and restocking of bar supplies Collaborate with Banquet and Catering teams to ensure smooth event flow Handle guest requests and resolve issues with professionalism and care Requested Capabilities Prior bartending experience in banquets, events, or hospitality settings preferred Knowledge of beverage preparation, cocktail recipes, and bar operations Valid alcohol service certification required (TABC or equivalent) Strong communication and guest service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand and move for extended periods during events Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds (e.g., kegs, cases, bar supplies) As part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange medical/dental/vision benefits maternity/paternity leave pet insurance company-matched dependent care & 401k student loan repayment program wide range of additional ancillary benefits We take pride in our Guiding Principles to help define how we successfully work together.
