A respected non-profit educational institution in Redlands, CA is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist. This senior-level Human Resources role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to leaders while delivering hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle. The Sr. HR Generalist will partner with colleges, schools, divisions, and administrative departments to align people strategies with organizational priorities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a mission-driven education environment with collaborative leadership, meaningful work, and strong visibility across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic HR business partner experience, California employment law knowledge, and the ability to execute HR programs with professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for assigned stakeholder groups, including executive leaders, deans, directors, managers, and administrative departments.- Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, corrective action, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
- Conduct complex workplace investigations and recommend compliant, practical solutions aligned with California employment law and institutional policies.
- Maintain responsibility for benefits administration and leave of absence programs while supporting future HR service model development.
- Lead HR projects, change management initiatives, employee engagement efforts, SOP development, and process improvement activities.
- Use UKG reporting, HR analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with Payroll, Finance, Recruitment, Title IX, Risk Management, and Benefits to support informed business decisions. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year. DOE
