Construction Office Administrator
A mid-size contractor specializing in demolition and sitework is seeking a Construction Office Administrator to support daily operations across office and field teams. This role is critical in keeping projects and internal processes running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable, including invoice entry and payment processing
- Support estimating and bidding efforts (bid calendar, bid bonds, forms, insurance requirements)
- Assist Project Managers with subcontracts, billing, compliance, and reporting
- Help maintain DOT, licensing, and safety compliance documentation
- Track equipment maintenance records and related costs
- Handle general office duties including phones, mail, supplies, and vendor coordination
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration (or similar) and/or 3+ years of experience
- Experience in office administration and basic accounting functions
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Construction industry experience is a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 15 lbs
