Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM4:00 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Transportation Clerk/Admin to provide administrative and operational support to our transportation and warehouse teams.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse employees, and management. This role is responsible for coordinating transportation activities, maintaining accurate records, processing shipping documentation, and helping ensure shipments remain on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily pickups, deliveries, driver schedules, and appointments.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors regarding shipments and delivery updates.
- Monitor driver check-ins, arrivals, departures, delays, and shipment status.
- Prepare and process bills of lading, delivery receipts, shipping/receiving documents, and other transportation paperwork.
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment, driver, and transportation information in company systems.
- Maintain organized records, spreadsheets, daily reports, and transportation documentation.
- Assist with resolving shipment discrepancies, missing paperwork, delivery issues, and scheduling changes.
- Provide general administrative support to the transportation and warehouse departments.
- Follow all company safety, security, transportation, and confidentiality procedures.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, warehouse administration, or shipping/receiving is preferred.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with TMS, WMS, RF scanners, or shipping/receiving systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
Work Environment & Requirements
- Fast-paced warehouse and transportation environment.
- Frequent interaction with drivers and warehouse personnel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to accommodate changing transportation schedules and operational priorities.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Safety shoes are required.
