PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT Central Virginia Health District is looking for an experienced applicant to fill the Physician Assistant position. The role involves performing patient care as a Physician Assistant with limited or no on-site access to a physician for guidance and oversight. Responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing controlled substances, directing nursing assessments, performing lab tests and measurements, and developing and implementing care plans with medication administration and case management. Actions performed at this level require licensure as a Physician Assistant by state code.
