Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice I'm partnering with a well-respected litigation firm in the Puget Sound region that is looking to add an Associate Attorney to its growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a litigation attorney who wants meaningful courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, and a clear path to professional growth.The OpportunityThis role is ideal for an attorney with at least three years of civil litigation experience who is passionate about advocacy and interested in building a long-term trial practice. You'll work alongside experienced litigators handling complex and high-stakes matters, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across every stage of the litigation process.Unlike many larger firms, this position offers immediate involvement in substantive case work, including depositions, motion practice, client counseling, and trial preparation.What You'll DoManage and support a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters.Represent clients in complex litigation, including medical malpractice and liability matters.Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.Take and defend depositions.Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation activities.Collaborate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.Develop litigation strategies and contribute to case evaluation and risk assessment.Work closely with experienced trial attorneys to strengthen courtroom advocacy skills.What We're Looking ForJ.D. from an accredited law school.Active Washington State Bar membership in good standing.Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation and/or medical malpractice experience.Strong knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial strategy.Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.Proven experience handling litigation matters with increasing independence.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, legal research platforms, and related legal technology tools.Strong client service orientation and professional communication skills.Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while working effectively with remote colleagues.Reliable attendance, responsiveness, and follow-through.Why This Role Stands OutDirect exposure to all phases of litigation.Meaningful client contact and case responsibility.Opportunity to work alongside accomplished trial attorneys.Hands-on courtroom and trial experience.Clear opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Supportive and collaborative team culture.BenefitsSalary + Potential for Bonus Health and dental benefitsParking or commuter benefitsPaid time off, and 11 paid holidays per year.
