Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation:

• The hourly rate for this position is $31.00 to $31.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift 6 am to 2:30 pm

Job Summary:

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Senior Process Sustaining Engineering Technician to support a leading medical diagnostics manufacturer in Carlsbad. This hands-on role will support production by troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving manufacturing equipment within a GMP-regulated environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment issues.
• Diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and help minimize production downtime.
• Support automated equipment, equipment installation, qualification, and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance records, and GMP documentation.

Requirements:

• Previous GMP-regulated manufacturing experience required.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing or production equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience with automated equipment, pneumatics, sensors, motors, PLC-controlled systems, or similar equipment preferred.
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or diagnostics manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read technical documentation, schematics, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Ability to work onsite in Carlsbad, CA on 1st shift.
