AV Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Service Technician to join our Bridges SI Service Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge integrated AV systems, supporting our clients by ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. Responsibilities: Diagnose and resolve AV hardware and software issues with accuracy and efficiency. Perform system testing, QA reviews, and site surveys to ensure high-quality installations. Support and operate AV and VTC systems, including hands-on end-user training. Complete AV/IT cable terminations and perform basic network setup. Connect and configure devices via IP or serial, including loading and adjusting DSP and control system files. Execute audio system setup and advanced video alignment for optimal performance. Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and signal flows. Conduct remote and onsite troubleshooting for installed AV systems. Deliver clear, effective end-user training on system functionality and best practices. Skills: Excellent communication skills with strong customer-service instincts. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Proficient with presentation and VTC setups. Skilled in configuring and integrating complex AV systems. Thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Able to recognize major AV brands and equipment by sight. Requirements: 5+ years of combined experience in System Integration, AV/VTC installation, or on-site technical support. CTS certification preferred (or equivalent industry credential). Completion of manufacturer training from one or more major platforms, such as AMX, Crestron, Barco, Biamp, Extron, or QSC.
