Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement.
• Demonstrated experience delivering instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in school settings.
• Proficiency in various communication modalities, including American Sign Language (ASL), oral communication, and written language.
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Skillful in collaborating with classroom teachers, families, and support staff.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to advocate for students' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and consultative support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across grade levels.
• Adapt classroom materials and instructional methods for multiple communication needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reporting for assigned students.
