Veterinary Receptionist

Client Service Representative We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals in Taylorsville, UT. VCA’s mission is to prioritize pet health and provide excellent service to exceed each pet owner’s expectations. We look for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” who will serve as the first point of contact with our clients and their pets. No prior veterinary experience is required. Key Responsibilities Initiate hospital resources related to pet needs, such as scheduling general practice appointments or discussing emergency services. Serve as the face of the hospital and build trust with clients. Handle greeting of visitors and manage multiple telephone calls simultaneously. Schedule and confirm appointments. Present and explain fees, process payments, and manage electronic medical records. Ensure the facility remains neat and clean inside and outside. Support veterinary technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership. Qualifications & Skills Demonstrated excellence in customer service. Compassion for pets and people. Proven decision‑making skills. Ability to communicate and integrate new information into problem solving. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in environments with hazards such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste.
