TIG WelderThis role focuses on precision TIG welding of industrial coil assemblies, including U-bends, headers, and distributors, followed by thorough inspection and testing to ensure weld integrity, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with engineering and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding on industrial coils, including U-bends, headers, and distributors, to meet required sizes and engineering specifications.Fabricate and assemble coil components according to blueprints and technical drawings.Use MIG welding when needed to support fabrication and assembly work.Inspect completed coils to verify conformance with engineering and quality specifications.Conduct pressure and leak testing on welded assemblies to confirm weld integrity and structural soundness.Identify weld or fabrication defects during inspection and testing and perform necessary repairs.Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances on all welded and fabricated components.Follow established quality control procedures and documentation requirements.Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of welding equipment and materials.Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met.Essential SkillsProven experience with TIG welding on stainless steel components.Ability to TIG weld industrial coils, including U-bends, headers, and distributors, to precise size and specification requirements.Hands-on experience with MIG welding in a fabrication environment.Strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Demonstrated ability to perform accurate fabrication and assembly work.Experience performing pressure and leak testing on welded assemblies.Knowledge of inspection, testing, and quality control practices for welded products.Ability to identify weld defects and execute proper repair techniques.Solid understanding of weld quality standards and dimensional accuracy requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with industrial coil assemblies or similar complex welded structures.Familiarity with climate-controlled manufacturing environments.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work effectively on a structured first shift schedule.Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with production and quality teams.Why Work Here?You will work in a modern, climate-controlled facility that supports comfort and productivity throughout your shift. The role is on first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will work with TIG and MIG welding equipment, fabrication tools, and testing instruments used for pressure and leak verification. The environment focuses on precision work, adherence to engineering specifications, and consistent application of quality control procedures.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pryor, OK.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
