Interim Manager of Education - Central California

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Education to support a busy community hospital in Central California. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically skilled nurse education/professional development leader who is passionate about frontline staff development, fostering clinical excellence, and advancing quality patient care in high-acuity settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff that promote evidence-based practice and clinical competency.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nurses, supporting skill development, critical thinking, and adherence to current best practices.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs, support new hire orientation, and promote continuing education across the critical care teams.
• Lead initiatives focused on clinical quality, patient safety, and performance improvement, incorporating regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Provide real-time coaching, support during high-acuity events, and facilitate debriefs to encourage learning and growth.
• Support competency validation, policy updates, and integration of new technologies or protocols into clinical practice.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Prior experience as a Clinical Nurse Educator or Clinical Specialist and at least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust with staff, facilitate adult learning, and lead change in a clinical environment.
• Proficient in current nursing practices, patient safety protocols, EMR systems, and interprofessional communication.
• Available to begin within 2-4 weeks and be on-site in Central California throughout the interim assignment.
