Program Management Intern (Summer 2026)

Your Opportunity As an Intern/Co‑op, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to infrastructure projects which may include stormwater infrastructure, wastewater projects, project management, project implementation, project delivery, etc. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken engineering courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college student to support a number of exciting local and national projects. Your Key Responsibilities Assisting in project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports Assisting technical staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling, and evaluating project data, preparing reports, and performing calculations for design projects Gaining exposure and performing basic tasks in CAD, GIS, and other design programs Completing other engineering/administrative duties as required Capabilities and Credentials Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and take direction Willingness to learn Education and Experience In progress toward earning a Bachelor's degree (minimum) in engineering or related field Coursework or exposure to one or more of the following: planning, design, construction, construction management and project management Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for an extended period. An office presence is expected to maximize learning during the co‑op period. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Pay Transparency In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
