Accounts Receivable Support

Working as full-time accounts receivable support, you will enjoy the opportunity to participate in a fast-paced work environment focused on reducing Fastenal's overall receivables. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Communicating with customers via telephone, email, and fax regarding their open balance with us and assisting in resolving the open items
• Documenting conversations with customers
• Working as a team to reduce days out and to improve Fastenal's overall accounts receivable portfolio
• Updating customer billing information
• Performing other administrative tasks as needed

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or older
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution. The base pay range for this position is $36,000 - 45,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
