Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

What you bring to the table:

Minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
Valid BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA
Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
Experience with Electronic Health Records, preferably Epic
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed

Nice to have:

Previous travel nursing experience
Additional certifications like CCRN
Bilingual skills or multilingual abilities

Preferred education and experience:

Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or higher
Proven experience in neuro-critical care for at least 2 years
Experience working in diverse healthcare settings, including travel assignments

Other requirements:

Availability to work 12-hour day or night shifts on a 3x12 schedule
Flexibility to work every other weekend and participate in rotation (schedule provided during interview)
Valid licensure and certifications required
Ability to navigate and utilize Epic EHR system
Willingness to float within various units of equivalent or lower acuity
