• Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills.
• Accurately obtain complete medical history, medications, and vital signs on all patients.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and appropriately stocked
• Perform phlebotomy for genetic testing as needed.
• Able to chart appropriately, relay instructions to patients/families, and answer patient calls and portal messages in a timely manner.
• Able to obtain scans and surgical authorizations through insurance.
• Perform front office tasks which include checking patients in and scheduling future appointments.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Must be able to respect the need for confidentiality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Be a supportive team player
• Avoid phrases like "that's not my job"
• Dispose of all biohazardous waste in appropriate manner.
• Assists with supply inventory management.
