Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic

Location: Hinesville, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: 8-hour day shifts, with guaranteed 36 hours and the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to deliver outpatient orthopedic care. The ideal candidate will understand the productivity expectations and patient volume necessary to thrive in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions for orthopedic patients.
• Meet productivity expectations of 60 visits per week, averaging 12-14 patients per day.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure patient follow-ups, understanding that double-booking of follow-up visits is expected.
• Adhere to protocols regarding overtime hours, as approval is required before worked hours exceed the standard schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Outpatient experience is preferred.

• The position does not require a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
