SUSHI CHEF (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time SUSHI CHEF position. Location: Toyota - 4857 Dogwood Lane, Liberty, NC 27298. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time. Sunday–Saturday; hours may vary; must work weekends. Details upon interview. Requirements: Ability to break down whole fish and manage seafood inventory; at least 2 years of experience. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Job Summary Prepares and presents sushi and related food products to customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Offer a unique combination of restaurant, catering, and special event experience to customers. Demonstrate high‑level knife skills and special skills associated with sushi prep, production, and presentation. Store foods in designated areas following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures. Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures. Maintain sanitation of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area; clean workstation thoroughly before leaving; keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to assure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe, safety, OSHA, production and merchandising requirements. Interact with customers to enhance dining experience; demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and be able to accurately explain them to customers and associates. Keep up with peak production and service hours. Perform other duties as assigned.
