As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records. Control access to restricted areas within a technology, media, and telecommunications location in accordance with site requirements. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
