Within First Supply there are opportunities to expand and grow your career!Take charge of your career and APPLY TODAY as a backup Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate with First Supply!Warehouse DutiesPick, package and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner.Utilize radio-frequency (RF) scanning equipment and warehouse technology to track inventory movements and returns activity.Process incoming product in a timely and accurate manner, checking for damaged productsUnderstand and be able to determine status of order at any given timeAnswer the telephone in a polite and timely manner; answer questions correctly, take accurate messages or refer the call to the appropriate personFollow tag and hold procedures for all incoming shipments and keep hold area clear and accessibleFollow any special instructions pertaining to an orderPoint out any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to Warehouse Manager or Inventory Control SpecialistLabel outbound material with appropriate shipping labelEnsure documents/system match actual quantities/items pickedKeep warehouse area clean and organizedDelivery Driver DutiesDeliver merchandise to customers in a timely and efficient mannerDrive Company vehicles defensively while following all laws and DOT regulationsBe courteous and service-minded in dealing with customersAssist in loading and unloading merchandise on vehiclesFollow assigned scheduling of deliveriesCheck orders for accuracy and damage; check pack slips for special instructionsConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles in accordance with DOT regulationsReport operating problems or maintenance needs on vehiclesAdhere to Company policy and DOT regulationsInform supervisor of shortages, overloads or damaged merchandise or customer complaintsMaintain vehicle in neat and clean condition; remove empty skids, pallet jacks, carts, and debris from the truck. Refuel vehicle as directedOther duties as assigned by the Warehouse and/or Branch ManagerFill orders in a timely and accurate manner Package orders in a timely and accurate mannerShip and acknowledge orders in a timely and accurate mannerOperate Fork-Lifts, Pallet Jacks, Reach Lift, and Stock PickerKeep warehouse area clean and organizedQualificationsValid medical card to satisfy DOT requirements and be at least 21 years of ageTwo years of truck driving experience preferredAbility to lift and carry up to 75 poundsDriving record which meets Company insurance carrier standardsGood computer knowledge and skills and the ability to learn First Supply LLC's business systemGood organizational skills related to managing paperwork and timeExcellent customer service skillsAttention to detailMust have a registered account with the FMCSA DOT Clearinghouse.
